How to Contact Us

Hours of operation

The U.S. Citizen Services Unit is open for services Monday through Friday by appointment only. (except Holidays and the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month).

For emergencies involving U.S. citizens, please call the Consulate from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday (except Holidays) or the after-hour emergency number at any time for assistance. Visa issues do not constitute an emergency.

        Consular Information Sheet for Mexico

        NOTE: The Consular Information Sheet includes such information as the location of the U.S. Embassy and Consulates in the country, immigration practices, health conditions, minor political disturbances, unusual currency and entry regulations, crime and security information, and drug penalties. If unstable conditions exist in a country, a description of the condition may be included.

    Notice to Applicants

    The Consulate is required by law to charge fees for many of its services. These fees can be paid at the Consulate in dollars, pesos, or by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Am Express, Discover, or Diners Club)

    We do not accept bills of $50,$100 or checks
