The Nuevo Laredo Consular District is comprised of Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas and the following municipalities in the state of Coahuila: Ciudad Acuña, Allende, Guerrero, Hidalgo, Jimenez, Morelos, Nava, Piedras Negras, Villa Union, and Zaragoza. All other parts of Tamaulipas and Coahuila, are covered by the Consulates in Matamoros and Monterrey respectively. The municipalities of Tampico, Cd. Madero and Altamira are in the Embassy's consular district.
In providing this list, the U.S. Consulate in Nuevo Laredo assumes no responsibility for the professional ability or integrity of the persons or firms whose names appear below. However, those listed have been selected with care. The list is arranged alphabetically and the names and firms have been divided into two categories: private lawyers and public defenders available upon appointment by the court. The order in which they appear has no other significance.
Note: The postage rate for SURFACE or AIR MAIL letters to Mexico from the United States is the same as the rate for such letters mailed within the United States. Registered mail may be sent through the Mexican postal system and return receipts can be received.
