Selective Service

U.S. citizen males must, upon turning 18 years of age, register with the Selective Service System whether they are living in the U.S. or abroad. In lieu of registering at a U.S. Post Office, males who have attained the age of 18 may bring their U.S. passport (or other proof of citizenship and identity) and Social Security number and fill out the application for Selective Service registration at the Consulate. The Consulate will mail the form to the Selective Service office at no charge.

For more information or to register online, visit the Selective Service home page.
