Urgent Need to Travel
Although every attempt is made to ensure that all applicants get a visa appointment in a timely manner, this is not always possible. We recognize that this can create serious difficulties for those applying for visas for studying in the US or for critical business meetings.
Should you have an urgent need to travel and are unable to get an appointment that will meet your deadline, you should make the appointment for the first available time. Then, please follow the instructions to fill up the emergency appointment request form at www.usembassy-mexico.gov/smxvisitar_urgencias.html
Your information will be reviewed by the NIV Chief and you will receive a response within no more than 24 hours.
