Spouse/Child of LPR (V)
The new Immigration Life Act created a category of temporary visa ("V") for certain spouses and children under 21 of a legal permanent resident (LPR or "green card" holder) that will allow them to live in the U.S. while waiting to finish the immigration procedures. Applications for these visas are processed only at U.S. Consulate General Ciudad Juarez.
