We Assist US Citizens

We can only provide consular services to U.S. citizens. In order to receive consular services, every person must provide proof of citizenship and proof of identity. A U.S. passport provides proof of both citizenship and identity. A U.S. Certificate of Naturalization provides proof of ciziten and may provide proof of identity.

Other citizenship documents are: an original or certified copy of a U.S. birth certificate or a Consular Report of Birth Abroad. NOTE: Driver's licenses, Social Security cards, and voter registration cards are NOT proof of citizenship.

Other acceptable identity evidence includes any U.S. federal or state government photo identification.
